SEO for US eCommerce Brands

Help shoppers find the store you own — without treating Google as a separate project from your listings and ads.

Marketplace search and Google search are different systems. Ranking on Amazon does not put your Shopify or WordPress store in front of someone typing into Google. The opposite is also true. Brands often hire one person for listings and another for “SEO,” then wonder why the stories do not match.

Vyn Tech Consulting handles site and store SEO for US-based brands. Because the same team also runs marketplaces, ads, and the store itself, we plan search work next to listings and paid campaigns instead of as a side project. We do not claim Google partnerships or guaranteed rankings.

02The work

What SEO covers here

Technical health so pages can be crawled and indexed, on-page work so shoppers understand the page, and content that answers real search questions — plus a clear line between site SEO and marketplace search.

01

On-page work shoppers and search can both read

Titles, headings, product and collection copy, and internal links should say what the page is for. We rewrite the ones that bury the product, drop leftover template phrases, and keep marketplace listing language from colliding with the words you use on your own site.

02

Technical health that does not fight the store

Slow pages, blocked resources, thin templates, and messy indexation waste crawl time. We review the basics — sitemaps, robots rules, canonicals, structured data that matches the page, and the speed issues that make a store feel heavy — then fix what is actually in the way. Theme and app choices on Shopify or WordPress stay part of that conversation.

03

Marketplace search is a different job

Amazon, Walmart, and TikTok Shop have their own search rules, fields, and ranking signals. We keep that work on those accounts. This page is for the site you own. When both need to move together, the same team plans the sequence so you are not writing two catalogs that disagree.

03Fit

Who this is for

US-based brands with a Shopify or WordPress store that need search work connected to their marketplaces and ads — not a standalone SEO retainer that never talks to the listing or media team.

04The process

How we work

Cartoon of consultants mapping a growth plan on a whiteboard

We start with the site, current search visibility, and how it sits next to your listings and ads. Then we fix the technical and on-page issues that block the rest, publish the pages that need to exist, and review what actually moved before choosing the next set of work.

  1. 01

    Review

Your site, search visibility, listings, and where traffic already comes from.

  2. 02

    Prioritize

The first technical and on-page fixes that unblock crawl, index, and clarity.

  3. 03

    Fix

Titles, content, structure, and the issues that waste crawl budget.

  4. 04

    Publish

Pages and updates that answer how shoppers actually search.

  5. 05

    Watch

Indexation and query movement — then the next round of work.

05One team

Why this sits with us

SEO agencies often stop at the domain. We also run the marketplaces, store, and ads, so search recommendations have to work with inventory, listings, and paid campaigns — not against them.

08Questions

SEO, answered

Do you guarantee first-page rankings?

No. Search rankings move with competition, content, and how the engines score pages. We will tell you what is blocking the site and what we would change first. We will not promise a position.

Is this the same as Amazon or Walmart SEO?

No. Marketplace search uses different fields and signals. Listing SEO lives on those service pages. This page is for your own site and store.

Can you do SEO on Shopify or WordPress?

Yes. Theme structure, apps, and page templates change what we can fix. We work on both, and we will say when a theme or plugin is the real problem.

How does this relate to paid ads?

Search and ads should not bid against a site that cannot convert, and they should not use different names for the same product. Paid campaigns sit on the Performance Marketing page. We plan the two together when both are in the engagement.
